Bhagavad Gita Hinduism interprets process of reincarnation... rebirth in a different way! As per Bhagavad Gita when souls' atmans were indestructible... could neither be created nor destroyed... all concepts of reincarnation existing in varied Hindu literature and other religions of world were meaningless... had no relevance! A soul is termed atman in Hinduism.
As per Bhagavad Gita the entire cosmic journey of a soul atman is one single span of life... absolutely unbroken... uninterrupted! This entire journey of life by a soul atman gets covered in 8.4 million manifestations that required an earthly sojourn of 96.4 million years! The human span... the journey of life by a soul atman in human form consists of 1.1 million manifestations... that approximately required 12.4 million earthly years.
Body to body... manifestation after manifestation... the cosmic journey of life for every soul atman was one unbroken cycle of life. After death of present body... every soul atman manifested another body based on residual balance of karma of that moment. For a soul atman to manifest a body... if matching parents were not available on mother earth... it hibernated in heaven or hell.
In heaven... if the residual balance of karma was positive and hell, if negative! No sooner matching parents became available on mother earth... the hibernating soul atman immediately manifested a new body and started a new cycle of life. As a student of class one promotes to class two... every soul atman also kept changing life forms after another.
The meaning of Reincarnation as defined in various encyclopedias dictionaries was flawed. The rebirth of soul in a new body was meaningless. Every soul atman was all powerful. It exists from times immemorial. At no stage of life it ever died. Only when death of physical body occurred... the soul atman immediately manifested a new body based on residual balance of karma.
From spirituality point of view... the concepts of reincarnation... rebirth did not exist in cosmos! Only when something died... it could rebirth! When death of soul atman never occurs... how it could rebirth... reincarnate! For understanding clear definition of reincarnation... rebirth, our indulgence in spirituality was mandated by God Almighty. Only by traveling spiritual path... human beings finally unveiled pearls of wisdom that lay hidden in sacred Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism.
It was path of spirituality and spirituality alone that finally led human beings to God Almighty!
